Creg Effs is a Christian young man who was born in Kingston, Jamaica, on November 19, 1977. He is separated and currently resides in the Parish of St. Thomas, Jamaica, where he serves as the Chairman of the Board of Flemming’s Basic School, where his hard work has propelled him to be appointed to serve as the Chairman of the Board of Early Childhood Institutions in his Parish. Being a philanthropist he also serves on other committees and is a Past President of the Lions Club of St. Thomas.

He has been a firefighter for the past 19 years. Creg is also a Motivational Speaker and a youth mentor. He enjoys writing poetry, and short stories, which he has been writing since his high school years, and is the author of two Poetry Anthologies, "Once, Twice, Three Times a Charm", and "So Many Things Mean Love", and a book of motivational thoughts, “It Begins In The Mind Empower Your Thoughts”, which are self-published.

He enjoys going to church, reading, writing, singing, public speaking, hiking, traveling, and helping people. He is a member of the Professional Writers Alliance and myAWAI (American Writers & Artists Institute). You can find his poetry pieces on allpoetry.com and mirakee.com.

Synopsis

First off, I want to start by admitting that no, I’m not a love guru, or any kind of expert on love. In fact, I don’t even claim to understand love. Like so many people, I have been hurt so many times, that I got to a point in my life when I didn’t even want to see, or hear the word.

So, what makes me qualified to write this book about such a topic? The answer is, I’m not qualified. Not by a long shot and that’s why this isn’t a self-help, psychology, or textbook, about how to find and, or stay in love.

What I’m about to attempt to do is take you on a journey about my life and my struggles to find true love. My decision to write this book came about when my marriage fell apart and my friends, who knew of my life experiences said that I should write a book about my life, so after giving it lots of thought, and after a two week nervous breakdown, I started writing the first chapter.

What is it that I’m hoping you get from this book? It is my hope that those of you who do take the time to read it, will find encouragement and somehow believe that even if you don’t believe in love, even if you have lost hope in finding true love, even if you have given your all over and over, and your heart gets shattered every time, everyone deserves love. Even you.
