I'm Bailey. I'm a 30-year-old entrepreneur and writer living in St. Petersburg, Florida with my Australian Shepherds, Aspen and Murphy. I am originally from Oklahoma, spent two years living in Salt Lake City, followed by two years in Dallas and now I'm a Floridian. I started my career in journalism and navigated a nontraditional and nonlinear path through executive assisting, sales, marketing, and PR until I launched my business at 26.

I run a successful brand strategy agency as well as a blogging and influencing business. I am an experience enthusiast and have traveled across the US and the world. I am constantly seeking to connect with other badass women and I frequently use my blog to tell the stories of amazing women or issues that impact women. I frequently use my platform to share my own chaotic and unstable childhood or life experiences and background to discuss how to harness those pieces of your life for further growth and development.

My bachelor's degree is in strategic communication and my Master's Degree is in administrative leadership. I have an insatiable quench for learning and knowledge and a passion for sharing that information. As the daughter of teenage parents and as a child who went through a great deal of trauma and chaos, I am living a life that younger me never would have imagined.

Synopsis

Many people are under the impression that the only way to find success and happiness is to fit a certain mold. They think you need to come from a picture-perfect family, follow a traditional education path, climb a traditional career ladder, prescribe to traditional dating and marriage views and you'll reach the desired level of success and happiness. However, what I've experienced and seen from others who have reached success and happiness is that the nontraditional can actually lead to more success and happiness. Grit, determination, perseverance & unique perspectives enable a person with a nontraditional background to really adapt and change in ways that can be harder for someone of a cookie-cutter traditional background.

I am nontraditional. I am the product of a teenage pregnancy & an upbringing of chaos. I experienced more trauma and loss in the first 30 years of my life than most people experience in their lifetime. I was in 8 schools by third grade. I was a nontraditional student who went on to obtain a Master's Degree and is the first person on my dad's side of the family to graduate from college. I have a nontraditional career path that was never linear but enabled me to successfully start and run my own brand strategy company and help other brands succeed. I made the decision to forego or delay typical dating and marriage views and instead focus on experiences and growing my circle. I chose to leave my home state of Oklahoma and risk that sense of security to grow and evolve. By moving to Salt Lake City, Dallas and now St. Petersburg, I've experienced much more than many my age, and those moves and risks have lead to incredible experiences and growth that others just dream about. I'm the little girl who grew up in chaos and instability but learned how to harness the adaptability and unique perspectives to lead a life that she would have only dreamed about.

I want to show others who have experienced similar chaotic or nontraditional lives that they can achieve more and how to use their chaos to launch them into a successful life that is far better than they could imagine.
