Synopsis

The book "Standing On Faith" is about many different characters of different ages facing difficult situations that they don't understand but there way of making it through there problems and challenges they face is always managing to stand out on faith which helps them overcome there situations. This book can help anyone no matter who you is, where you from,what age you is, or what you maybe battling against in this journey call Life. My reason for writing this book is to encourage and help people through the problems they maybe facing and life and giving them the keys to how to overcome them and have a more joyful and happy life. And teaching others how to live life more abundantly and seeing what blessings this book bring them as a individual.

Outline

Exlus a 16 year old girl from a small town who mother passed away when she was only 10 years old leaving her to live with her father who is now a single parent who is a man that really believe in living by God's word and also teachers his daughter to do the same but doing the process of Exlus growing up in become a young beautiful church going girl who is very mature finds her herself in the process of dating a boy 3 years older than her that leads her into alot of damage and drama in her life. And her only way of fixing all her problems is learning how to stand on faith and depend more on god by putting him first.

My audience will be people that love God, believe in standing on faith and because they know faith is the key to all things hope for they are looking for answers from God that will help them overcome there life situations or keep them believing and knowing that with God and faith all things are possible.

In the book matters of the heart it talks about people that is trying to find help from god on how to start fixing there situations in there life by become a better them and also gain inner growth by allowing god to step into there life's by fixing there situations and bringing change . The book matters of the heart is very similar to standing on faith because it also allows you to learn how to fix your situations and gain inner growth. Standing On Faith can boost your confidence in faith or allow you to learn how to have faith. Standing On Faith can also make you look at each battle/struggle you maybe facing in life in a more positive peaceful way. Standing On Faith can also allow you to gain more trust in God, teach you how to have peace of mind, confidence, and joy because the book have many characters that faced alot of challenging situations that maybe similar or worst than anyone that can cause a anyone to look at there situations differently.

This book basically is letting people know that there is a better way to have a more peaceful, joyful, and abundant Life even after they have faced negativity all throughout life.

- Hey, I'm Exlus Christina Johnson. Welcome to my story Standing On Faith. I know most story's may start off as a fairy tale, well not this one it's only for the people of god to relate to in reality. I stay in a small town called Clio, S.C. The town with only one stop light,four stores, and not many known for making it when it comes to success. Most of you may have heard of it and many of you may haven't with us been the smallest dot on the map. Growing up here over the years haven't been the best place for opportunities or to raise kids especially not my beautiful daughter Tayniah Johnson. But, thank God for allowing me to be in my second year in high school as a sophomore at Jacksonville High. Moving from here to a bigger and better place has become one of my main focuses for my plans after high school. Especially with me living in the house with my father and been pregnant having the sad feeling of raising a child basically by myself as a single parent. It has been very hard with my father who name is Fred raising me alone due to the passing of my mother. Been a single parent. I know most people may stay in the house with two parents like my on-and- off boyfriend Elijah Thompson. Unfortunately my mother Roseanne Johnson passed away when I was only 10 years old. Every since its been me and my father. My father always making sure he proves for me. Over the years he has made me very proud to call him my daddy. We go to church almost every Sunday. He makes sure of that. Sometimes I think what would it be like if my father would have gotten married again. I always felt maybe having a step mother would have changed so much my father is facing right now. Working at Ina, coming home late at night , struggling trying to save for me to attend college, helping me prepare for my newborn, and also facing the problems in his own life. From time to time I find myself crying because it's been very hard and I miss my mother so much. Everyday, I wish I would of had more time with her. You know ? I feel like I'm such a burden on my father . Like why god ? Especially with all the hurt and pain he has faced over the years. It all seem so hard to me but, He is always saying "Exlus Christina Johnson! Always keep god first and watch what he do when he show up and manifest his word in your life. Hallelujah! He's always standing on faith. That's one reason why I love my father so much seeing how much strength god has given him, the challenges he has faced but he still manage to know the right words to say in every situation and at the right time. I'm always praying asking God 'God give me the strength that you have given my father so that I may raise my beautiful daughter tanyiah the way my father has raised me. Help for me to stay focusing on school, go to college, become a lawyer, and be a positive role model to my daughter and make my father proud. Help for me to be like David in the Bible when he says in (Psalm 23 verse 3- He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.)

Chapter 2

•Finding Out I'm Pregnant•

( Ephesians 2:8- For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.)

- Standing on the porch why waving goodbye I watched Elijah drive off thinking what a great feeling it was to be home, so many throughts ran throw my mind as I closed the front door behind me running upstairs to call daria to tell her what happened between me and Elijah. Reaching for the house phone, I begin to feel so much guilt. Thinking how I just allowed elijah to interfere with my relationship between me and god by having sex with someone who isn't my husband. Thinking how disrespected my father would feel if he knew I was sleeping around with a boy almost three years older than me, not including the fact that I barely even know him. How could I allow myself to sleep with someone I barely know with out protection? Hoping to myself that he didn't sleep with alot of other females on the first night. Thinking not only that but, the throught that I broke my promise with god couldn't leave me alone. At that moment part of me was beginning to feel hurt but another part of me felt like this is the best feeling in the world. Thinking to myself what worse could happen ? Picking up the phone still feeling sorry I prayed "God please forgive me for the wrong that I allowed to take place between me and Elijah that I know is going to interfere with me and my father relationship and now ours also. God please forgive me. Amen!)
