Life was fabulous and yep I thought I had it all together.

That was until I came back to my homeland and did a complete 180 degree change in my life and work.

Which took me two damn years to get over, and threw all I knew in the world to be true, up into the air.

What's more it took some deep diving into myself, personal growth, massive amounts of reflection, some awesome failures that rattled me to my core, and a sucky period of ...well feeling sucky, that I realised the truth:

I did not have my shit together. I was not better than anyone. I was not special. I was not successful. I was just me, and that was more than enough.

From there sprang deep-seated joy, knowing, learning, understanding and happiness, combined with fear, anger, faffing, confusion and going right back to the basics.

I highly advise this if you. want to get to know yourself at any stage of your life, especially in your early 40s when you think you know yourself and enough to be dangerous.

That's why this book is bursting out of me, ready to be written in a dazzling array of brilliance, research, impatience, frustration and massive amounts of imperfection.
