Spending over a decade exploring the unknown and traveling to faraway places, she decided to bring that kind of curiosity and exploration into the classroom. This is where the idea for My Pet Bug came to life, when she was studying to become a certified Montessori teacher. Her mission is to spread awareness that learning can be fun when taught in a hands-on way!

Hello all,
Yesterday was SUNday and although it was raining outside, I am grateful for the rain too. As summer comes to a transition here slowly, I find myself reminded that slowing down, being inside and resting have their perks too, like giving me the opportunity to catch up on “making more bugs”.
This summer flew by and I have been having a blast! My Pet Bug book has made it into the hands and homes of well over 100 families so far since its release in May and has shown itself in the community more times than I can count on my fingers. What exciting news for My Pet Bug’s first season alive.
I wanted to take a moment to thank each of you for supporting My Pet Bug and its mission to provide the foundational building blocks (the keys) towards literacy and helping future generations read with more ease. It’s been a real treat sharing this book with each one of you.
School will be back in session soon and oh my what fun is in store!
If you know any children between the ages of 2-6 or teachers in early childhood classrooms, please help spread the word about the new bug in town that makes Literacy the new cool thing to do, one letter at a time, learning the web to this human life.
