Twas the night before Thanksgiving and all through the house not a creature was stirring except for a mama who was rustling paper, stuffing packages, and wrapping up Scripture cards. Her heart was full of gratitude to see journals tucked into bags or shipping packages going to beloved supporters. 

It's a bittersweet moment that yes, I will think of two little faces who won't be looking at me this holiday, and yet I know that God has taken beauty from ashes and their little legacies live on in the journal and future adventures of Taste and Seek. 

This will be the last email from this domain and moving forward, you will see new updates from me from the new website! I hope you will continue to follow along and be part of what's to come.

Ahead, there are more workshops, more interviews for the next book, a new blog, and hopefully tons more content to deepen our faith. 

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being part of this journey. Thank you for reminding me that hope can still come after despair. I pray that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know that for some this could be a year of some empty chairs at your table and I grieve with you. For others, I know that there are prayers that were answered exceedingly and abundantly more than you could have imagined. May whatever your situation be, let it be filled with praise for the One who is always faithful.

"You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, that my glory may sing your praise and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to you forever!" Psalm 30: 11-12
