Update #3 - Almost there... April 15, 2020

There's only about 23 hours until this campaign ends tomorrow at 1 pm.  I thank all of you who have pre-ordered copies and shared the link with others.   The count is at 929 copies pre-ordered right now, which is absolutely fantastic!  And it's oh, so close to 1,000.  When I began the final push on Monday morning, it was at 708 so I know we can do it.

Yesterday I spoke with a publisher who's interested in the book and he gave me some good news for all of you who have pre-ordered (or will before the end).  You'll be getting your copies weeks before anyone else does.

And speaking of when, my plan is to have the book out to the public before the end of 2020.  You'd get your copies probably in November.

To make that happen, I'll have to have my first draft wrapped up by mid-June.   It'll be like writing my dissertation again.  In 1998, I got a job offer as a visiting assistant professor at Haverford College and needed to finish my PhD before I showed up there in the fall.

I hadn't done much on my dissertation yet and had only about six weeks to get it written and submitted in time for summer graduation.  With the help of a lot of hours between midnight and 6 am and quite a few pints of Ben & Jerry's, I got it done.  So if I look exhausted and overweight next time you see me, you'll know why.

Here we go!
