Now is the time to Crush it! We have 50 days until Christmas and another 7 following the holiday until its' 2016. This means another crossroads in our lives. Finish off the year with passion and spirit. We all have the knack in us to be great to ourselves and the world. We have the drive and a deep fire within ourselves to be the true friends, family, and leaders.

Not every child, teenager, or person in the world knows how to find that passion, purpose, and meaning in their lives. They need a boost. I'm here, as a writer and author, to give others that boost - to inspire you with a story of relentless love and determined soul.

A Golden Heart is about adding BIG VALUE through a story that is both enchanted and meaningful. Like the central characters in the book, Brooke and Esiw (E-SOO) they are two opposite people brought together to help each other. Brooke, being so negative and pessimistic, and Esiw who always looks at the bright side. Lessons are learned through actions and scenes that unfold between the two, set against a backdrop in the forest.

We as humans over time, develop a hole within ourselves. Feelings of emptiness, dissatisfaction, and sadness result. We fill the pit with money, food, prestige, power, alcohol, drugs, entertainment, TV, sex, fantasy, and material consumption. These fillers never fully satisfy our hole. Why do people win the lottery, then commit suicide when they are out of money? We tend to believe if things on the outside were better and different, we will feel better on the inside.

A Golden Heart is about healing, become our true selves, and connected to love. We give, through joyful suffering sometimes, all of ourselves. Our hearts yearn for significance. We give and receive love. We have honestly, humility, perseverance, and service. And we never complain along the way. I'm talking about community and mentorship. It's about stepping up when we are called to action and opportunity.

Right now I'm refining some of the twists and turns in the book. The fulfillment, and gift I'm giving to you in the words in the book. I'm so appreciative I'm thinking about you, the reader, when I'm editing and refining the book, improving it each day. I'm working on some designs and illustrations too. Thanks to my wonderful loved one Barbra and her family, we have a great editor now, and my brother Jordan will be designing a new book cover (the one you see here is just a mock-up).
