Update #9 - June Progress Report June 30, 2016

Hello, Fantasy Fans!

I’d like to apologize for the late post. There’s really no excuse. I said I would have the next post out within two weeks at the most and I failed to deliver. There’s nothing I can do except promise to post more often, stick to it, and tell you about all the awesome things that have kept me occupied for the last month.

Things have been hectic this month and I haven’t made near as much progress as I would like, but I have made some. I’ve really dug into the characters and what makes them tic, resulting in more evocative prose, at least to my eyes.

Cin City D&D

Cin City D&D has continued to be a joy to work on episode after episode. Each session brings new challenges and new opportunities to be creative. The players have been incredibly fun to work with and have really pushed me to be more of a role-player and to develop some terrible accents. So far we have gotten through almost half of the Lost Mine of Phandelver and continue to shoot longer and longer sessions.

Last Monday, we missed our scheduled play session, but we managed to shoot the character intro videos and a few short skits that we hope to bring to you soon. Hopefully you’ll forgive us when you see the blooper reel.

This Thursday starting at 10:30pm ET we will start the make up sessions for Monday. We’d love it if you could join us, but we understand that we play fairly late for some. That’s why every live session is recorded and available on our YouTube channel, all you have to do is subscribe and you’ll never miss a moment of the epicness!

Upcoming Projects

We have quite a few things on the horizon as well, one of which may or may not be an epic theme song.

- I said before that we’re almost half way through with the Lost Mine of Phandelver, so we’re in need of a new campaign. Luckily, I know of a certain Humble DM who has been working diligently on just such a campaign entitled Forsaken Library of the Moonblade. Look for an upcoming post on that in the near future.

- We’re also in the process of compiling info for the website. Soon we’ll have character profiles, photos, and several other goodies for you to enjoy.

- Yes we’re working on a theme song. Rob aka Varus can shred on the guitar and Madison aka Hisxori is a singer who should be on Broadway, so soon we’ll have a theme song and intro video so epic it will make your head explode into rainbows of ecstasy.

Finally I’d like to apologize again about the late post. In the future I’ll be much more attentive to the blog, but I can’t make any promises about when the next post will be. Hopefully, it’ll be in a few days to a week, but with my crazy schedule I honestly don’t know anymore. I do promise to provide a monthly update on Abyssal Tides, Cin City D&D, and any other projects I’m working on. Thanks for being so understanding and awesome.
