An ex corporate girl’s guide from the rat race to joy and fulfilment
Irreverent, yet friendly, inspiring, yet real, vulnerable, yet courageous, this book encourages you to question life’s assumptions and the expectations you’ve been fed.

Hello Everyone!
I'm sorry it's been so long. The proof reader actually did get the book back to me three weeks ago but unfortunately I haven't had the energy to look at it until Sunday morning. (I have been a tiny bit ill post a trip to Africa, unfortunately.)
So. The book is looking and sounding so profesh now ;-)
There are still some tweaks I needed to make off the back of the proof reading. Those edits are now done and we were sending it away to print a proof copy until... I found another few edits.
And then another few.
Seems Nick's advice a few weeks back hasn't entirely sunk in.
I guess when you are taking massive personal risk in writing a memoir, everything seems so magnified.
Nick has stamped the work FINAL just last night, so I can't touch it anymore.
And I have rationalised that even in big name books, I've seen some mini mistakes. (There is one in my book that is really bugging me that the proof reader didn't pick up and which I only noticed this morning. If Nick can't get to it before it goes to print, perhaps I should run a competition for the first person to spot it in the published version? Ha ha)
Once we get the proof copy in a couple of weeks, I approve it going 'live' and getting it out on to the usual platforms... but not before your copies get to you!
I will again keep you posted on exactly how and when that is going to happen.
I'll be in touch again soon.
With love
Lynda
