Synopsis

Can you over come your fears and learn to dance?

Chloe Cha Cha's in London is a one of a kind children's fictional story about a girl who chooses to leave her parents, her home and her comforts to move to a foreign country to pursue her dreams of becoming a competitive ballroom dancer when all she wants to do is give up and go back home.

By the end of the book you would have been taught the basic to the Cha-Cha dance and have the opportunity to follow a video link that takes you to the author's themselves teaching and breaking down the basic step.

Inspired by the real lives of co-author's Corky Ballas and Carolina Orlovsky parents, coaches, champions and world renowned dancers themselves.

Not everyone gets to win and success does not come without sacrifice and effort even if you are just a kid. Chloe finds out what it takes to become good at something. Commitment, the agreement you make with yourself that no matter what, you are not going to let yourself quit. After dedicating hours of practice time to overcoming challenges she faces, she realizes what she is capable of but only if she does the work and sees it through. With the support of her family and her teachers Chloe finds the motivation to keep going.

Chloe's journey shows you it's ok to cry and feel discouraged but not let yourself give up. It encourages you to get up, wipe your tears, experience your feelings but then get right back to work! With the help of the Spin family World Ballroom Champions and her brother Chloe conquers her fears of not being good enough.

This book is for kids between the ages of 5 and 11 but also for their parents and family members who remember what it was like to learn something new and desperately want to be good at it. It is also for anyone who has wanted a glimpse into the world of Ballroom dancing and what it takes to become a champion.

The first book of a 22 book series introducing the loveable characters of Chloe, Alex, George, Mr. And Mrs. Spin as they take you on dancing adventures all over the globe while teaching you the basic step of a new dance and sharing the rich culture, tradition, and history of each dance style.

Travel the world through Chloe's eyes as she overcomes challenges, meets new friends, and learns new dances in some of the World's most sought after destinations.

  • Poll by the National Alliance for youth sports report that 70% of kids in the U.S. stop playing organized sports because it's simply "not fun anymore"
  • More pressure consequently brings the potential for experiencing disappointment, this also has the potential of teaching life lessons

Brandylane Publishers, Inc.

Looking for titles that teach, promote, and encourage understanding, tolerance, peace, environmental preservation, health, and wellness.

Brandylane is a small, independent press, founded in 1985, that publishes fiction, non-fiction, poetry, memoir, and children’s books. We publish under a traditional arrangement and also offer a cooperative track for emerging authors. We believe that books make a difference, that lives and the world are changed by the power of words and images, and that large publishing houses neglect a wealth of good writing. We are not looking for mainstream read-it-before self-help.

Under our cooperative arrangement, we invest a portion of the publishing costs and offer a stepped royalty structure from 30% to 60%--higher than the industry average. One distinguishing feature of our program is that our marketing effort includes a one-year launch, followed by two additional years of promotion through our social media, website, our seasonal genre, and subject matter email campaigns, and continuous support from our PR team.
