Dating "Disability"

Emily Goodson

Intimacy issues are widespread.

What if being a person with a disability made you more equipped to thrive in intimate relationships, rather than inhibited you?

And what if the skills I've learned from my lifelong physical disability could help all of us have stronger intimate relationships?

Update #7 - Exciting Book Updates + My Latest Projects! Feb. 19, 2025

Hi everyone!

We've officially moved into the line editing phase of the publishing process, which means we're one step closer to getting the finished book into your hands. We're also beginning to explore different cover designs, and I can't wait to share some sneak peeks with you soon.

We're still on track for books to start shipping in September. I'm so grateful for your pre-orders and patience as we bring this project to life. Pre-orders will reopen in April/May for those who missed the initial window.

In the meantime, I've been busy with some other projects that I'd love to share with you:

  • SoulCycle Interview: I recently had the pleasure of being interviewed by SoulCycle about my love for our community and instructors. You can read more here
  • "Healthy Mind, Healthy Life" Podcast: I had a powerful conversation about my mental health habits on the "Healthy Mind, Healthy Life" show
  • New Rebranding DEI Newsletter: I've launched a new newsletter exploring how companies are rebranding DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) in the Trump era. You can read the first post and subscribe here. The next edition, featuring the insight of my good friend Steven Huang, should be released later this week.

I hope you enjoy these updates and find these projects interesting. I'm incredibly excited about the progress of the book and look forward to keeping you posted on our journey to publication!

Thank you again for your support. Sending you all the best!

Emily
