Dear supporters of my writing,
It's possible that some of you may have received this email from various places, if so, apologies. I just want to point out that next week, my co-author Natan Linder and I are hosting a live event with drinks, finger food, and a free book in the participant bag (ours) on the premises of Tulip, one of MIT's most exciting spinouts the past decade. We even have an audio team to ensure the light fireside chat is pleasant to your ears.
If you go to one book launch this fall, let it be this one. If you are remote-I'm sure you can find other ways to send thoughts our way as you have in the past. Truly appreciated!
It is official - the launch of the book I’ve been working on, Augmented Lean: A Human-Centric Framework for Managing Frontline Operations, is here and I would like to invite you to the official book launch and signing. The program will feature a fireside chat with me and my co-author Natan Linder, PhD followed by a book signing, networking reception, and tours of the Tulip Experience Center where you can see Augmented Lean principles in action. The details are as follows:
Wednesday, October 19, 2022
5:00 - 8:00 PM
Tulip Interfaces, 77 Middlesex Ave, Somerville, MA
If you would like to attend, please RSVP here: https://tulip.co/events/augmented-lean-book-launch/ so we can save you a seat - and a copy of the book.
At the event, you can expect to hear more about why we thought this book needed to be written now, including:
- How legacy industrial technology is failing modern operations and hindering operational excellence and digital progress
- Why management frameworks must prioritize humans over machines and
- How to implement agile processes for a millennial workforce with strategies on how to scale throughout your organization based on real-world case studies
It is sure to be a fantastic evening and I hope you will be able to join us! If you are in a different geography but still want to contribute to celebrating the book launch, you could always walk into your local bookstore and order a copy or spread the word about our book using social media.
Best,
Trond
