Wow! Founders and the Underdog got 253 pre-orders. But it wasn't me. It was you. You made this a success! You believed in it, at times even more than I did. 

The past 48 hours were crazy. The campaign was 50+ pre-orders away from hitting the 250 goal that would validate the book concept. I almost gave up, it seemed impossible to sell that many book in such a short amount of time. 

But then I didn't want to be that loser who quit right before reaching the finish line. And so I stocked up on coffee, locked myself in and almost didn't sleep, messaging and re-messaging hundreds of people.

Less than 12 hours left. Will we make it?

I need to take a walk. I can't handle all this pressure. Need more coffee.

4... 3... 2... 1... 

We made it! Two hours before the deadline. 

"When you are tempted to give up, your breakthrough is probably around the corner." – Joyce Meyer was right. I am glad I kept going because what happened in these past 48 hours was MAGIC. 

So many people support me in that toughest moment, to stay up until late with me, counting these numbers down. 

If you have this big dream you want to chase – you fight for it! 

WHAT NEXT?

The great news is that I am actually already negotiating with a publisher I think is a great match for Founders and the Underdog. They already have a long list of bestselling titles. I told them that I aim to be their next one. I will share more details soon :-)

And when I say that "I travel the world to meet brilliant entrepreneurs," I mean it. I am heading to Africa, Asia, Australia, and possibly South America in August and September for that purpose. 

I have 6 months to complete the manuscript and it will take another 3-4 months of editing, printing, and producing the book.
