Update #4 - We Did it, Thanks to You! Jan. 17, 2021

Hi Friends,

Girl, F*ck This, Permission Granted raised $10,840.00, sold 513 pre-orders, was pitched to 21 publishers, and is in discussions with publishers.

As I begin to work with publishers and identify which publisher is best for me and the vision of this book I will simultaneously continue to write this book and formally launch my new company, called Courage to Create on March 1, 2021.

My intention with this book and company is to speak to and work with womxn, LGBTQ communities, survivors, and those who are recovering from addiction and mental health challenges. This book and company are the results of my own entrepreneurship & recovery journey and my deep-seated passion for role modeling the behavior I want to see in the world.

I want to tell my story so others know that they aren't alone. I want to provide access to a diverse and equitable set of solutions the reader can implement on their own the day they begin to embark on this journey with me.

The truth is we need this.

Mental health is quickly becoming less of a taboo topic and more of real concern, due to world cultural riots, manifestations, isolation, unemployment, suffering economies …. the system's are crumbling around the pandemic. From which, women LGBTQ communities, survivors, and those who are recovering from addiction and mental health challenges are the most affected ones. The reality is that as these communities continue to climb social ranks, they continue to deal with multiple traumas surrounding sexual abuse, physical abuse, post-partum trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and even addiction. The real problem these communities are facing is the repression and invisible shackles we keep on ourselves due to the stigma of weakness our cultural and social heritage promotes. We are avoiding the inner and outer roadblocks within ourselves, which lead to a recession in all manners.

This book is the permission these communities have been waiting for if they feel disempowered, alone, and maybe even like they can't continue on any further. This book will empower these communities to take ownership of their unexpected gifts and find the courage to create and contribute to the world in a creative way.

Thank you for being on this journey with me. Your belief in me personally and your support of my vision is something I will never take for granted.

Here is to building with pain, and leading with love!

Love always,

Justine Evirs
