How To Be Resilient

The Blueprint For Getting Results When Things Don’t Go To Plan

Life doesn't always go to plan. More often than not things go wrong that throw you way off track. The reality is that most goals and dreams are left unrealised because you are not equipped to deal with setbacks and challenges.

Why This Book?

Things go wrong.  It is just a matter of when not if.  How you react to challenges is going to determine your level of success and achievement.

I have been asked repeatedly over the years how I turned my life around and how did I keep going from strength to strength even when things seemed completely hopeless.

The principles outlined in the book come from the first-hand experience in dealing with some of the toughest adversity one could face – a devastating accident at 12 years old left me quadriplegic and needing a wheelchair for mobility for the rest of my life.  There was no textbook theory, fluff or hype that got me to where I am now, just real world, practical, in the trenches principles that got me from rock bottom to succeeding in business, sport and life and I have laid them out in the easiest way possible now you so can use apply them in your life too.

Whether you would like some strategies for getting great results under pressure in business, sport or life in general, this book lays out simple to implement strategies that are practical, relevant – and best of all that work.

The majority of goal setting methods that are taught lay out the end goal and the small steps to achieve that goal.  The shortcomings they have are that they do not address what to do when the plan fails.  They have no contingencies for what to do when the shit hits the fan and this is why most people quit when things go wrong.

It has been an amazing journey to realise that everything I have been through in my life has brought me to the point where I can take the essence of what I have learnt and present it in a way that others can use it to achieve the success they desire and deserve without being dragged down by setbacks and adversity.

The Plan

I am excited to be self-publishing this book as it gives me the opportunity to involve you, the future readers of the book in a process that is normally behind closed doors.  Publishing a book also requires many resources and to fund these resources this campaign has a funding target of $10,000.  As the process of completing the writing, editing, design, printing and publicity are unfolding I would love to share it with you to give you an insight into just what it takes to create a book.

This campaign gives you the chance to get a copy of this first edition before anyone else along with some unique opportunities to spend time with me, to get involved in launch activities around the country and to have me come and share my story and the principles from the book with your organisation.  Bulk orders for your organisation are welcome, contact me directly at bookings@staceycopas.com.

The goal is to have the book in your hands in July this year (2014).  To ensure this message is shared with the world in July, please select the option that is most beneficial for you to get involved with this exciting campaign.
