Irvin Scott

Dr. Irvin Scott has written a book of leadership lessons from his 30+ years in education. The book is unique in several ways: 30 quotes as the foundation for the book, stories are the vehicle for sharing, and the lessons are both personal and professional.

Update #4 - Friday, July 7th is coming! July 5, 2023

Dear "30 for 30" Friends,

I trust you all had a wonderful July 4th celebration. If you're not a US citizen, we trust your national celebrations are uplifting and restful as well.

In a couple of days, it will be Friday, July 7th.

That day marks the official end of this campaign. Woop Woop! Here's a quick update on where we are and what will happen on July 7th:

1. We met our goal of 500 books about 17 days ago.

2. We're now up to 560 pre-published books purchased.

3. On July 7th, the book will be shopped around to additional publishers. Along with the ones that I have spoken to already, there will be others who we'll have conversations with.

4. BTW, I have already met with three interested publishers: 1) Radius Book Group, 2) Xanedu Solutions, and 3) Morgan James Publishing. These meetings have been very informative and it's exciting to hear about publishers' interests. I welcome any thoughts or ideas you might have. I continue to engage with Bethany Marshall (Publishzer, CEO) and my son, Leon, who have been supporting me.  #GodisGood

4. WHEN WILL THE BOOK BE AVAILABLE? This is the big question I'm asking potential publishers. MY GOAL: The book would be available  Fall  2023. That's ambitious, but that's my goal.

Once I settle on a publisher, I will get a better idea of when the book will be OFFICIALLY published.

Thank you for your continued support, prayers, and well wishes.

Dr. Scott or Irvin (One day I'll explain why I sign off this way).
