Howdy everyone!
The book is on track to be finished at the end of the month or the first week of December. It didn't attract a big publisher so I am going with self-publishing on Amazon which can handle ebooks and also print out bound softcover copies in less than a week as well. It is amazing to me that small publishing houses want months to print out books that are already type set and copy-edited.
I've changed the topics of two of the chapters-- the chapter on Escape! is now about the types of user interfaces and the chapter on Little Lost Robot is on how robots are programmed and how that impacts HRI. Both were originally about some variant of lying and emotions but those concepts gets covered in other chapters and so were redundant. Plus I realized that most of the Asimov stories are so oriented towards natural language interfaces (because the ambiguity of natural language makes it easy to generate new plot lines!) and readers might miss some of the basics.
