Elevating Discomfort in Service of Life-long Learning
License to Learn delivers a flexible and intriguing "map." With it, Anna invites you to see life's challenges (chosen and unchosen) differently, and make meaning from them in new ways. This is the first book in a non-fiction trilogy aiming to elevate the experience of discomfort in solving many current cultural and environmental challenges.

Hello Everyone,
Happy Friday to you wherever you are. There are people on this list from Singapore, England, The Hague, and all over the US. It has been amazing to see orders coming in.
One of the things I am learning in this process is that I am much more comfortable with promoting ideas than I am with promoting myself! That being said, if you want to get a sneak peek into one story/idea from the book, here is a podcast I was interviewed for recently. It just began airing this morning:

The interview is part of an oral history project out of South Mountain Community College near Phoenix, AZ. Through multiple interviews, they are recording what life is like during the COVID 19 era.
In other news, there are only 3 days left in this pre-order campaign. After April 13th, no more orders will be taken and the process turns to (hopefully) being matched up with a good (for me) publisher. I would *love* some help in this home stretch, IF you feel like giving me a shoutout in your networks. No pressure, of course. Should you decide to do so, I think it is helpful to say why your peeps might be interested in this book. You could simply highlight why you are interested in the book, for example. The link to my page is https://publishizer.com/license-to-learn/ so you don't have to hunt for it.
Either way, thank you again for your great support of me in this weirdly timed experiment to find a publisher. My next update might be about actually having found one!
In the meantime, do take great care of yourselves and have the best weekend possible under these circumstances. I hope you and yours are doing well.
All the best.
Anna
