Elevating Discomfort in Service of Life-long Learning
License to Learn delivers a flexible and intriguing "map." With it, Anna invites you to see life's challenges (chosen and unchosen) differently, and make meaning from them in new ways. This is the first book in a non-fiction trilogy aiming to elevate the experience of discomfort in solving many current cultural and environmental challenges.

Hello everyone!
First, I hope that you and yours are keeping well.
Second, I have big news: the book release date is set for December 1, 2020! On this date, people will be able to order it through Amazon and Barnes and Nobles. (People will also be able to order the book through my own new website as well, but it is not ready yet. I'll send the link once it is.)
You all, however, will hopefully get the book sooner than this. We are looking at a 2-4 week timeframe from now. I will be receiving a shipment of books and then will mail them out to you individually. The exceptions to this are 1) bulk orders of 8 or 10; 2) books going outside of the US. Those two categories will be printed nearer to where you are and then shipped directly.
This means that I need to have your updated address (in case you have moved since March/April). *For those of you in the two categories above, I need updated addresses ASAP.* For others, you have more time (~2 weeks).
I am happy to sign books that I will be mailing myself, but if you do not want this for whatever reason, please let me know. I'll be happy to sign any others the next time I see you :)
Third, please use the following email address for all communications with me about the book:
aswitzerauthor@gmail.com
Lastly, for several reasons I am not going to do a big publicity push for this book at the moment. I am planning to write my second book this winter and then do publicity for both of them after the second one comes out. Thus, one thing that will be really helpful on all of the websites is to have positive reviews of the book. So, if you can read it and do a quick turnaround review for me, that would be fantastic! This will be really helpful leading up to Dec 1, but any time is welcome. You can submit the review in any/all of the three places (Amazon, Barnes and Nobles, or my own website). Your reviews and word-of-mouth spreading are going to be super helpful and important.
Thank you! Let me know if you have any questions. I can't wait to get you your book(s)!
Anna
