Dear Emperors and Empresses,
Yes, you all are the rulers of the Magician and Fool crowd-funding and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support in pre-ordering my book. We are at over 350 orders and I am hoping to reach 400 by next Wednesday! Ten more days of this campaign and we are wonderfully near the final goal of 500 pre-order sales!
Next week, during the Reader's Studio Tarot Conference in NYC April 28th-30th, Magician and Fool will be represented at the wonderfully talented artist Carrie Paris' booth. The attendees at the Reader's Studio will have a chance to pre-order Magician and Fool during the last days of this campaign. If you would like to know more about Carrie, who just returned from a trip to China to teach tarot, you can check her out at:
This campaign through Publishizer to pre-order Magician and Fool has been successful, thanks to you! I so appreciate your encouragement and support in helping me publish this labor of love! In the next few weeks, I will be letting you know when the fulfillment date of the book and merchandise will be determined; it's very possible that it will be a Fall 2017 date, but I will keep you posted!
And in closing...
Pamela Colman Smith, the protagonist of Magician and Fool, was a young artist who took on any number of jobs: set designer, costume designer and maker, toy theatre creator, magazine publisher, lampshade, fabric pattern, poster, and book plate designer.
In the spirit of Pamela's relentless artistic spirit, I am enclosing a collage of some of her work: a stained glass design, book cover, calendar cover, and water color. Enjoy!
