The blistering saga of a flash in the pan art revolution in Penang, Malaysia
In between 2010 and 2016, George Town, Penang, Malaysia, was gentrified beyond belief. This is the saga of the young, enterprising, opportunistic artists, curators, and organizers lighting the fire.

Dear All,
I have been afforded an extension to my campaign for Malaysia's Canvas of an extra 20 days. The reasons for this run deep but in essence it is because I want to ensure I get the right publisher for the book that can fulfill my international expectations.
However, I have the beginnings of a plan coming together. I have my mind set now on using two different publishers, whatever the outcome. One will be a regional publisher in South-East Asia and the other will cover the US, the UK, Europe and Australia. At the moment, the two publishers interested in my campaign best suited to enact this are Firewords based in Singapore and Motivational Press based in California. Why don't I just get the ball rolling them? Well, have you heard of them?
Another reason for extending the campaign is that I have been approached by two other publishers independent of my campaign and Publishizer: Morgan James based in New York and Anthem Press based in the UK. These you may have heard of before. The good news is that they are both on Publishizer's books but have not yet seen the campaign because I have not reached the right amount of pre-orders for them to be queried. These are far more established publishers and I have my eyes set on them to distribute the book globally. I, and the fantastic team at Publishizer, are reaching out to them as we speak but the all important pre-orders are crucial in solidifying their interest. You can click on the images below to check them out.
I am still marketing the book online and through social media. There are more author interviews to come and potentially marketing the book through MPH and Popular - two bookstores with outlets in Malaysia and Singapore.
I will continue to send regular updates and keep you informed of the book's progress.
All the very best,
James
