WHEW!! Hi all, wanted to give an update: I promise, A BOOK IS COMING! Who knew picking the right publisher was so hard?!?! I’m sure it could’ve been an easy decision for someone who isn’t as concerned about the end product…unfortunately that’s not me. This book is raw and unfiltered and essentially a direct look into my life, my relationships…my being. With that said, this is not something I take lightly. I want my past 1.5+ years to reflect positively. After all, one publisher I met with said it best, “Once a book’s out: It’s out. You’ve made a stamp on the world.”
I’ve gotten some feedback from an editor and some of the suggestions I feel are really in sync with my vision for the book and others I’m going to leave as suggestions. (I still appreciate them, nonetheless!)
Basically, what I’m trying to say is I’m not as “finished” with this book as I thought. I still have work to do before I finish the manuscript (then it has to go through the final professional edits, cover design, interior layout, etc.) A book is not going to be here by tomorrow, but it will be here in 2021!
