How Marie Dorion, Mountain Lamb & Owl Woman Shaped the West
The stories of several iconic American Indian women illustrate the pivotal role native women played in the Fur Trade and opening of the American West.
Hello to all my patient supporters!
It has been a slow and arduous six months of submitting excerpts and proposals to the TWENTY FIVE publishers now interested in this book! It's very exciting and also a bit daunting. But I am thrilled with the process and the assistance I've gotten from my girl Julia at Publishizer! We are very close to the finish line!
At this stage I am attempting to get more pre-orders in order to assure the excellent publishing contract several hybrid publishers have offered. If I can raise enough to cover a portion of the production costs, I'll get a better percentage. It's a difference of receiving 10% on each book or 60% on each book. Huge and well worth it!
We will move forward with publication as soon as I've sold enough books. So if you have been following my progress but haven't purchased yet, please do! And please share this announcement with anyone who might be interested!
I am so grateful for each one of you who has supported me in this project. I appreciate you very much!
Feel free to reach out with questions or suggestions to help me close a deal! :-))
