I'm a journalist and writer living on the Central Coast of NSW, Australia, just north of Sydney.
I'm the author of three (non-self-published) books: The Gringo Trail, The Good Alternative Community Guide and The Little Green Guide. These are all quite different from The Stone Gate, which is my first YA novel. My day-job is a sub-editor for a big-selling Australian newspaper. So I'm confident the writing, editing and production of The Stone Gate is of a good, professional standard, comparable with non-self-published books.
I'm passionate about bushwalking and the environment: this passion will be obvious, I think, if you read The Stone Gate.
