Troy Galyon is a lifelong runner and Appalachian Trail thru-hiker, who completed something only a few thousand others have been able to accomplish. Not only that, but his journey helped raise close to $7,000 for cancer research as he partnered with MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. The trials of the trail gave Troy only a slight idea of the struggle his father was experiencing daily with his cancer treatments, but it also gave hope to his father to continue each day. Troy's aim is to show people that wealth and status are not necessary in changing lives and making the world a better place.
