Update #8 - We hit 529! Plus another great interview with a superstar in tech Jan. 29, 2019

2 weeks in and we are well beyond 500. Woohoo!!

Thank you all again for your support.

This should be a good amount to attract a great publisher to this important cause.

I want to keep the story going by sharing the interviews with real women in technology.

Today's is with Anastasia Volkova from Flurosat;

https://medium.com/shes-buildi...

We also had;

Charlie Gerard from Thoughtworks.

Silvia Pfeiffer from Coviu

More to come.

Please keep helping by sharing the links on social media. Who know's, maybe we'll sell 1,000, get a wonderfully good publisher and end up on the top seller list...

(some text you can copy and paste is below)

Be good, talk soon.

Mick Liubinskas has written a novel to encourage teenage girls to get excited about technology.  He is running a crowdfunding campaign to try and get it published.

About the Project - from Mick

There are a lot of amazing women in tech, but it’s still not close to being balanced. To inspire young women to give it a go, I’ve written a book. The aim is to give them a positive role model.

The main character’s name is AZ and she enters the school’s robot building competition. She forms a team with 10 (female) and Li (non-gender) and together they build Ada, their robot. I have written the book without a specific location and I don’t physically describe the main characters. More about the book here: http://shesbuildingarobot.com

I'm running a crowdfunding campaign in order to attract a publisher which will magnify the message.
