Update #11 - Launch Week! Feb. 17, 2022

1.  The book is finally here and I wanted to let all of you know how grateful I am for your support.  I've been working on shipments in between work and family stuff, but I am excited to see pictures of people holding the book popping up on social.

2.  I wanted to share with you the early stages of my website:  https://www.chrislynam.co

I will be using that as the central hub for all things book & business related.

In addition, there will be a newsletter and blog too - I'd love to have you be a part of that.

3.  Daisey and I are synchronizing our calendars to ensure that everyone with coaching time from the campaign can get something on the schedule.

4.  Checklist - whether you do 1, or all 4 checklist items listed, it will be such a huge help in the book launch campaign.

5.  Tag me with your reading update!  We have our first book finisher - Lania Berger!  My mom just messaged me that she finished chapter 7 last night (at 2:10am).  I'd love to hear where you are in the book and anything you can share about what you are experiencing or learning would be so wonderful.

Final Thought

I thought that holding copies of the book would shake me free of this surreal experience feeling.  Then I thought back to having our first born, Christian.  I understood that we had a baby, I held him, talked to him, and was still shocked that I was actually a father.  I couldn't fathom that the little infant in my arms made me one.

It took some time to get used to.

This book is no different.  Like Michael talking to Bert in Mary Poppins, "is something supposed to happen?" I haven't gone through an immediate and magical shift into feeling like an author.  It's becoming more real, but it is still hard to believe.

I guess you could say the same thing about every big life change you've experienced.  Whether it was becoming a husband or wife, becoming a mother or father, taking on a new title at work, or becoming an author.

Thank you for being part of this surreal life change for me.

Chris
