A band.
A once in a lifetime band.
Stumbled across by a drifting through life 40 year old desperate for something to break the routine.
The rollercoaster ride that ensues affects everyone connected with that band.
A read for everyone that's ever cared about a band. Very Rock and Very Roll.

...a Bass Drum kick and a fizz on the hi-hat whilst we are at it!
Because.
I've finished my final edit. The last third positively flew by such was the flow and I'm delighted to say that it's fucking great - even before the publisher sprinkles their magic editing dust on my finished manuscript.
The editorial process has allowed me to make certain narrative changes but principally, to tighten the writing and overall make it leaner and 'fizz' a little more than the first draft.
I might make a couple more minor tweaks between now and Tuesday when I send the manuscript off but in the meantime can I thank you both for your patience in waiting for a 'finished product' and again for your initial support.
It's been brilliant talking to friends/family/people about the progress and I hope this interest and support continues and grows. I'm now a lot more comfortable with this as I wholeheartedly believe that I am going to deliver something that I'm really fucking proud of.
Next stage is to speak to my publisher to establish a revised timeline from here on in - but I anticipate that there will be a tangible product by the Autumn. I will be posting out updates with regard to the launch etc.
I don't know what I'll do with my time now. Or maybe I'll start to put down some concrete notes for book number two....
Shine on you Crazy Diamonds and again thank you for getting on board.
Love 'n that
