I wanted to bring you up to speed with developments.
Last week, I received a publishing contract for my novel. Chuffed doesn't come close!
Delighted to have a home for my book and a publisher that will get it out there.
As I have discovered, things move slowly in the world of publishing but I will keep you posted of how it's progressing.
It won't be ready for your Summer Holiday read I'm afraid as I need to give the book a final overhaul/tweak myself and then it goes for copy editing/proof reading with the publisher.
Delighted to have reached this point and I can't thank each and everyone of you that have supported and encouraged me.
A proper book. With my name on it. That's a pretty damn good feeling.
So, time to get on with final edit. Plenty of coffee and I my even treat myself to a biscuit or two...
