Update #6 - Next steps! Sept. 6, 2019

Hello Community,

May this find you feeling your shoulders drop and your breath deepen as we move into September.

If you've said to yourself, "I can't believe it's September already!" here is an interesting article with different theories as to why we experience time flying as we move through it.  One theory shows that our sense of time can be slowed down by up to 20% by raising our body temperature.

This reminds me of how a day at the beach can feel so long.

Also how much longer sentences can feel behind bars given the lack of air conditioning and sweltering temperatures in jails and prisons.

I wanted to fill you in with the next steps in the publishing process, which are slowly emerging.

After taking a few days off of post-campaign:

- 3 publishers have expressed interest, and I'm exploring my options.

- I've had a seasoned voice over artist reach out to me and express interest regarding the audio version.

- I've connected with a social justice writing coach/editor and a conscious business coach as I navigate the world of publishing for the very first time!

Things are a bit up in the air, and I regret I don't have more information however, I will keep you posted on developments.

Thank you again, each one of you.

I've started writing each of your names down so I can have them up on my wall, feeling each one of you as stars, lighting the way, supporting me through this process.

With gratitude,

Ali
