Hello and I hope this finds you having transitioned well into 2020.
1. Thank you so much for your interest and support of my forthcoming book. As a valued customer and an early investor I want to give you a vulnerable update on the progress of this project.
2. When I embarked on this book, it was with the intention of making a significant contribution to the dialogue around mental health and prison reform. I was vaguely aware of the magnitude of that task, and the deeper I go with this project, the more convinced I have become that the system needs to be challenged for us to move forward as a society.
3. Currently I’m in the process of interviewing leaders and changemakers in this field. The process of gathering research and interviewing has taken me down some fascinating rabbit holes that I'm eager to share with you. The depth of that research has also meant that my anticipated deadline for the book of Summer 2020 will need to be extended.
4. Thank you for your patience, and I look forward to sharing the book with you when it is ready. I will keep you updated with progress as it develops. In the meantime, if you think that you, or any of your contacts, would be a match for my interview process for the book, I would love to hear from you.
5. While my Publishizer campaign has ended I am still accepting pre-orders. Please email me at alipsiukmft@gmail.com for more information.
Wishing you robust health, sustained energy, gentleness and joy with yourselves in the New Year.
With love,
Ali
