I presume many of you are getting my updates via the Facebook page these days - but just in case I thought I'd do a quick one here.
Zeke and I have now signed off final artwork and text and are ready to get to the next step.
I have been working hard on publishing and have made it through the CreateSpace vetting processes to get my book ready for Amazon self publication - but in the meantime I have connected with some lovely people at SENbooks who are attending 9 Special Needs and Autism shows over the next few months and have agreed to place a poster and copies of my book on their book stand.
I asked them about helping me with publishing but at present their view is that I've already done most of the legwork on this so we are going to reconvene after the summer to see what more help they could offer. I get the impression that small publishing companies find the Amazon Self Publishing world pretty frustrating for them as everyone thinks they can just do it themselves...but we shall see
I have a proof copy of the book now and it looks great....so those of you who have ordered your first edition copies will soon have them to hand - and I welcome your feedback.
I remain amazed at the level of support I have received from you all and take this as a continued confirmation that I am on the right track
Thank you
