The Trail Provides

Troy Galyon

A Journey of Hope Along the Appalachian Trail

The Trail Provides is the story of a mission and a journey to hike the entirety of the 2,200 mile Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine in honor of Troy's father who was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. In May of 2017, the day after graduating from college and with no prior backpacking experience, he started and then later completed the trail in only 107 days to honor his father and fundraise for cancer research.

Update #2 - Over 100 Pre-Orders in Less than 48 Hours Jan. 15, 2021

Everybody,
We are over 100 pre-orders in less than 2 days!! This progress is HUGE. Thank you for sharing my story and this campaign. And please keep it up! I can't describe how encouraging your support is for me. My journey along the Appalachian Trail and in writing this book are monumental to my life, and to see so many people interested in reading that story and supporting me blows me away. I can't thank you all enough.

Here I am with three great friends from college who came to hike with me when I finally made it to Newfound Gap in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. My friends and relationships are the most important part of my hike and my life in general. I couldn't have done any of this without them!

Always,

tg
