The Trail Provides

Troy Galyon

A Journey of Hope Along the Appalachian Trail

The Trail Provides is the story of a mission and a journey to hike the entirety of the 2,200 mile Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine in honor of Troy's father who was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. In May of 2017, the day after graduating from college and with no prior backpacking experience, he started and then later completed the trail in only 107 days to honor his father and fundraise for cancer research.

Update #7 - Delays Abound Aug. 12, 2021

Everyone,

I write to you to apologize for the delay in getting this book out to you, and to ask for a bit more patience from you. I am currently working with an editor on the manuscript, and although it is complete, they've told me I will likely have to do a complete rewrite to get it ready for publishing. It pains me to say it, but they have told me the book won't be ready until next July (2022) at the earliest. My hope is that I can have this rewrite completed and the book out to everyone by then, but this has certainly been a downer for me as I know it is for everyone reading this. I am doing my best to get everything done that I can to hurry the process along, but it is just going to be longer than I (and we all) wanted it to be.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns by replying to this email.

All the best,

tg
