Just a heads up to everyone who supported — or expressed interest in — the Publishizer crowdfunding campaign for The Year of Drinking Magic: Twelve Ceremonies with the Vine of Souls that the book is now published (by Apocryphile Press in San Francisco) and available for purchase in paperback or eBook format on Amazon. The book can also be ordered through most bookstores since it's carried by Ingram (the world's largest book distributor).
I recently completed the task of mailing out books to everyone whose campaign contribution entitled them to one or more books. (If you haven't received your book by the end of February, please contact me.) I've also started promoting the book via my being an interview guest on podcasts. If you're local to Toronto, please consider RSVP'ing to attend my book launch party at Ayurveda Rituals spa (1081 Bathurst St, Toronto, ON M5R 3G8), 6:30-9:30 pm on Thursday, March 1. (Please RSVP as the space is small and we need to keep track of our numbers. And if you do RSVP, please come or let us know you can't make it so we can give your spot to someone else.) It should be a fun and informative evening.
I welcome people to friend me on Facebook or "like" my Facebook page The Year of Drinking Magic to be kept abreast of interviews, talks and other developments. You can also keep up with my ongoing writings and blogs/vlogs at my new website HipGnosis.co (Note this is intentionally a "co" and not a dot com!)
And thanks again to everyone for your love and support! Early responses to the book are very positive and I hope this work benefits people in their individual shamanic and spiritual journeys, whether or not they include Amazon teacher plants such as ayahuasca.
