Update #3 - 60 days ago... April 4, 2017

Two months ago, the contest to crowd fund this book ended. My goal was to get 250 preorders in a month. We ended up with 326!  THANK YOU for your support, both financial and emotional. You'll never how much that means!

So let me catch you up on what has happened since then...

Publishers:   I spoke to two different publishers and both offered me a contract. I've narrowed it down and actually chosen one: Virginia-based Mascot Books. This was tricky because it involves more than printing the book. I wanted to make sure that whoever I selected would support this story for the long haul, and help me get this book in bookstores and other outlets for the best visibility.

Manuscript:  I've finished the first draft! It feels so good to have it all down on paper. It's far from done, mind you ... I'm still tweaking, editing, rewriting and then doing more tweaking, editing and rewriting. But the first draft is DONE.  Now that I've chosen a publisher, we'll work on getting it professionally edited before it goes to press.

So that's the update on this end. Much progress has been made in 60 days, with still more work to be done. Thanks SO MUCH for being part of this journey with me. I promise I'm doing everything I can to be sure that "Who Am I If You're Not You?" is worthy of your belief in it.

XO,
Lynn

By the way, we'd still LOVE to catch Ellen DeGeneres' attention and convince her to write the foreword for this book. Would you do one more thing for me???  No matter what kind of social media you might use... LinkedIn, Twitter, FaceBook, or all of the above ... would you come up with a post that mentions the title of this book, the website (www.whoamithebook.com) and use the hashtag:  #writeourforewordellen.

You just never know -- if we all do it, maybe she'll see it and help!
