Hello!
I hope everyone is having fun preparing for the festive season.
The proof has arrived. And let me tell you, it feels SO. WEIRD.
Seeing it all in the physical world - pulled down from the digital cloud - is so unreal. My name is on the front cover of this pretty looking book. It's just SO STRANGE.
It is an unfamiliar yet relieving feeling. Writing something that is so personal has felt like a complete extraction of the past. Now that it's in this tiny book, the catharsis is over. And much more easily compartmentalised. I mean, it's all in the book now!
Nick and I are meeting on the 21st December to talk about any changes that need to be made to the proof's alignments. (I can see a few.) And also talk about next steps; ie. getting the digital and physical copies to you.
This will happen in the New Year. But I will keep you posted on exactly how that is going to go down.
