Update #4 - Half-way mark of the book campaign Aug. 28, 2019

Hi subscribers

Well it’s been a wild ride so far. The ideas in the book have been very well received by the coaching community at Meetups, on-the-job and online. I’ve been strongly influenced by the people I’ve been speaking to on the topics in the book. Some recent changes to my thinking have included:

     - Ensure that the book is not overly theoretical and abstract

     - The book needs specific steps and actions for beginner coaches

     - agile coaching enables two things; getting work to done and helping people learn

I have assembled an awesome team of eleven contributors who will help me co-create and iterate the ideas during the time I write the book. So if you are considering taking up this offer to be a contributor (and want your name in the book) then please pre-order this package soon, as I cannot have any more than 20 people; the working group would be too large.

We are on track to hit the 250 pre-sold book goal required to attract publisher interest; only another 53 books to go! Every book helps so grab a copy if you haven't already; it is the best way to help :-) I communicated with the crowdfunding site owner and he says I have a good chance of coming third in the book competition I entered the book into.

Here is the leaderboard: https://publishizer.com/contests/2019/business-impact/.

This really does have the chance to reshape our industry, so once again thank you.

Niall
