Hey everyone! I hope this finds you well, and for all the dads out there, a belated happy Father's Day. Summer is here and while we're still wrestling with the virus, it's great to be able to get outdoors and appreciate the beauty of nature and life. Did anyone see the solar eclipse over in Europe this weekend?? I need to check out pictures.
A quick update. First, thank you again for the pre-orders. I know several of you have asked about when you can expect your items. As soon as a publisher and I can come to terms, I'll be able to officially close the campaign. This will enable me to fund all the pre-order events (Publishizer holds the funds until an agreement to publish is reached)!
At this point, I haven't agreed to terms with anyone. This is two-fold. I'm deeply grateful for the dozen publishers that have expressed interest in the book; the bigger publishers want a compelling manuscript before they'll consider publishing a book like this, and that's what I intend to deliver. So I'm still writing and rewriting the book at this stage.
Honestly, it's been an other-worldly journey. This book has developed so many layers, and I know I've said in past updates it's done. That only serves to remind me of my own creative process.
I've taught myself the various layers of this book. In order for a book to really be "self-help" it has to help the person writing it. And this book has done that several times over. Now, I need to translate what I've learned and how I've grown into something that will benefit all of you, and lots of other beautiful souls.
That's taken me on a deep journey of my own soul, my life, and all the lessons I've taken away from my own personal experiences.
Like any good recipe, sometimes things just need time to bake before they're ready to be served, and that's where I am with Being.
You see, I don't want to write just another book that people are going to buy and then have sit on the shelf or on the coffee table. I am writing a book that people are going to have a hard time believing is real, and yet they will. I want to write a book that inspires people to take the journey within in order to understand the real beauty of existence.
The second part is...my agent is next level! She is driving me to really stretch my boundaries to get up close and personal with my own truth. And that's what I'm doing.
