I Am Human Experience
A true story by Carol’Ann Tappaz
Author of the book “Divalia’s Imago, Flutter to Higher Ground and Success” that was released in 2011 with the related music album “Imago.” This version of Carol’Ann’s autobiography will have to be revised and reedited as Volume 1 “Imago” for the trilogy “Blessing and Curse.”
"I Am Human Experience" is volume 2. The structure is similar in both books with each chapter beginning with a song and its lyrics. Here, Carol’Ann experimented with a new concept. Each chapter is divided in two parts. Part 1 is for an audio version, including her songs for opening and some questions she asks to the listener as if they were having an intimate conversation. The intention is to bring “guided meditation” up to another level. The inspiration came from numerous comments she received from her previous book. Readers have reported their feeling of hearing her voice while they were going through the pages. Their reading experience sounded like having an exclusive and intimate conversation with her. That’s the intimacy she aims to create with her audience through authenticity.  That’s the essence of part 2* where she is wide open with her personal story.
This new book is a revolutionary concept in the spiritual community who claims that God is in everyone of us and praise the use of positive affirmations such as "I am God”, "I am the Divine Light” etc... "I Am Human Experience” can be used as a powerful mantra to remind us that we are all here, on this planet, to live a human experience. Carol’Ann gives an update on some old spiritual beliefs such as “Let Go, Let God”, “Mind over Matter” and the famous “Love is The Answer.”
Carol’Ann shares her journey fighting some rare genetic syndromes and autoimmune diseases. Most importantly, she reveals her own discoveries and the method she developed to heal herself using mostly orthomolecular medicine and nutrition with a twist of high technology. The key is to reverse a self-sabotage process that took place on a cellular level. How to neutralize and reprogram our cellular system that has been damaged by traumas we carried with our genetic heritage...She reveals some surprising other elements that impact us deeply on a daily basis.

Special note for publishers: The idea is to keep Part 2 of each chapter for the paperback version only. It is interesting to divide the whole project into various products in order to monetize different parts of a same story using different medias. That’s the principle of Transmedia. That way, the audience will potentially buy the audio version first, then the eBook and/or paperback, plus the separate music album and other products related. (Including a cookbook with Vegan recipes Carol'Ann created for healing purpose.)

CHAPTER 1

EXPLORATION

In this chapter, I talk about the beginning of our existence that started with our parent’s decisions. We explore their impacts.
Personal story developed in Part 2: My mom took the decision to accept to stay in bed for 8 months with daily injections to repair the embryo in order to deliver a healthy baby. Her sacrifice led me to be born with a very rare congenital disease that later developed onto other rare diseases which had incidences through my entire life. The pressure to prove my parents I was worth all their sacrifices was so heavy on me that it impacted my own decision to not repeat the same.  (Details about my miscarriages is developed in the first book)
That pressure made me jump off a cliff in 1992... Metaphor for “Leap of Faith.”

CHAPTER 2

AWARENESS

The awareness of our own body’s intelligence and it’s natural healing abilities.
I share some of the teaching from my seminar “The Bliss Experience”, sacred sexuality. I talk about sex like no one has ever done before.
Personal story developed in Part 2: How I've been inspired by my own parents who have never been sick, never been on a diet, never took a sleeping pill or antidepressant. They were driven by their passion for each other with an intense sex life, that was key to their incredible health and success.  

CHAPTER 3

ONENESS

False beliefs, Karma, soulmates, "let go, let God”... the confusion that creates chaos in the world and within ourselves. How "confusion” is the root of autoimmune diseases, when our own immune system doesn’t recognize the good cells from the bad and attacks itself.
Personal story developed in Part 2:  The confusion I felt when I realized that I was learning to unlearn everything I learned from spiritual books or spiritual teachers. The feeling of being a walking contradiction of everything I used to believe to be true.

CHAPTER 4

CLARITY

How to get out of the dark labyrinth, when nothing makes sense anymore? When the mind is controlled by the body, we experience "matter over mind”, instead of everything we’ve always been told: "mind over matter”... We are poisoned with fear and guilt for not being able to be successful and healthy, ashamed of being judged by the society, our families, friends, business partners. Autoimmune diseases make us feel powerless. How to take our power back?
Personal story developed in Part 2:  I share about a unique and very powerful exercise I created, with the help of a high tech tool.

CHAPTER 5

DUALITY

The duality and contrasts about being positive and negative. It’s about the constant movement of life. Personal story developed in Part 2: I share my journey with medical marijuana and medication.The contrast of what we hear from those preaching natural remedies, pointing out the big business from labs and pharmas, but in reality, natural remedies are even more expensive for patients as they are not covered by insurances.
My ultimate goal was to become Negative, to read it on my blood tests and biopsies. Being Positive was my worst nightmare.

CHAPTER 6

PEACE

Overcoming the fear of death in order to obtain the sacred Graal: Inner peace.
Personal story developed in Part 2: I share with humor my acceptance of the death sentence and conversations with the Death angel. How I prepared myself, my family and close friends to what seemed to be inevitable and imminent.
I talk about contemplating suicide to keep the control of our own body and life, motivated by the fear of losing control...
I also share how boring it was to be in such state of peace of mind, feeling like I was in the Death waiting room, expecting my name to be called any time. (Test readers have reported that it is the funniest chapter, sometimes hilarious:-))

CHAPTER 7

REMISSION

The healing process starts with a motivation, that leads to the decision to live, then heal. This brings us to the manifestation process and the creation of miracles: remission or cure.
Personal story developed in Part 2: I share how the support of my doctors, friends and family have helped me through this incredible journey. The importance of communication and expressing how we truly feel, especially with doctors. Also the discipline about doing all the right things...

Audience

Here is my audience:  350 millions of people suffering with autoimmune diseases in the world. 4 millions with Sjogren's (mostly women) and 16,000 with Behcet syndrome in the US which are some of the health issues I cover. It has been proven that women purchase most of the books. Many women can relate to my story and project themselves, not only health wise but also on a more private level; women involved in an abusive relationship or marriage, spouses of addicts and narcissistics. My books would definitely interest Oprah. Her internet class with Eckhart Tolle reached 70,000+ connections. Self-help and conscious living books are the biggest sellers worldwide. Since I give lots of tips on nutrition, mostly Vegan, I can definitely say that the Vegan community is a great target. The vegan community is the fastest  growing movement in the world. The Vegan lifestyle is included in the Yoga community which IS the biggest community in the world, generating billions of dollars for brands such as Lululemon. Also, the rare disease community keeps growing daily. Facing this fact, people, doctors included, feel lost, hopeless and confused. Fortunately, they will find lots of answers in my book. My own doctors in Los Angeles call me "phenomenon" as there is no similar case reported in the medical literature. Not only someone with so many rare diseases but most importantly someone who achieved remission. They suggested to write an official report about my case. They agreed to let me use their real name in my autobiography. This makes me believe that my audience won't be based on patients or conscious people only but medical doctors as well. The huge success of the book "Charming Bowels" by Giulia Enders (a medical student) confirms that there is a global real interest about the human body and its self-healing abilities. This book sold more than a million copies and has been translated into 30 languages. Some of my test readers reported that my books are a mix of "Eat Pray Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert, "Harry Potter" by J.K. Rowling and "Charming Bowel" by Giulia Enders. All best-sellers. I already received multiple offers to make a movie based on my story which means that producers recognize the potential to reach a wide audience with my adventures. 

Promotion

I registered to a paid program called Author CO-OP with a LA based online marketing company. The concept is to cross promote our various projects. For example, my multi-media book "Imago Experience" reached over 100,000 views in a short period of time and was number 1 for weeks in a selection of 16 authors called "Transformed Agents." 

I will make inspirational videos for YouTube as video marketing is the most powerful way to connect with the audience. I already established my authority and authenticity as a worldwide healer which will give massive value to my messages.

I am the ambassador of the League of Extraordinary Women for LA chapter. We have 75K followers on Instagram. I am also the
Ambassador in California for an NGO for Women Empowerment; WeforWE.org.
Plus I am a member of many support groups for rare diseases. I've been talking about my upcoming book ever since I started writing it in February 2016. I have been encouraged by everyone dying to know what I did to recover and be able to live a normal life again. One year later and still in remission, my story is even more powerful and valuable, especially for those who doubted the remission could last. 

I intend to post a few times a day (at least 3 times) on Twitter, Facebook, WeChat and Instagram through the various communities I'm involved with, taking advantage of the different time zones I'll cross over my extensive traveling plans for 2017. Total of Social Media groups: 12 with over 100K members.

I learned a lot from my previous book launch. The night before, I was interviewed live (in Spanish) on the news on Telemundo, a Spanish television network owned by NBC Universal. Rapidly, I was overwhelmed, swamped, overbooked...til I got sick. It turned out that every reader wanted to have healing sessions with me. I had to stop promoting my book for that specific reason but it's been a great learning experience. I won't have that kind of issue since I publicly announced that I stopped doing one on one healing sessions. My current website will be put down shortly. Then, I will be entirely dedicated to promote my books. I will create an author page on Facebook and probably start a podcast.

I am fortunate to have access to major medias such as television and radio platforms in Europe, Switzerland, Asia and the US. I've been interviewed quite a lot since 1992 when I've been called "Living Proof That Miracles Exist" after my tragic fall in a stone avalanche in the French Alps. I have other projects lined up for 2017 and since everything is connected, "Blessing and Curse" will benefit from the promo and marketing resources. For example, my own TV show that will start filming in China with an important production company, US/China based. 

Authenticity is the new currency in business and that's my wealth.  

Competition

1 "Charming Bowels" Giulia Enders published in March 2014 in Germany. The rights have been sold in 18 countries. The book has been translated into 30 languages. More than a million copies were sold. 500,000 three months after it was released.

2 "The Journey" by Brandon Bays published in 2003 plus revised and updated versions. That would be the closest comparison to my own book. International best seller with multiple following versions such as "The Journey processes" published in 2009.
