In terms of marketing, then I intend to make use of two routes - 1 Online and 2 Offline.

  • Twitter Launch campaign.
  • I will be in touch with many of the online forums
  • I will be in touch with bloggers relevant to the topic of this book

2. The offline marketing plan will include:

  • appearances at local bookstores
  • local gatherings such as meetups

I have arranged for an interview with the local media, and have hired a PR guy to create press releases in order to get the book noticed by newspapers and TV stations outside my local area.

About the author

Hi, Chris is the name and thanks for stopping by. Grab a cuppa, get comfy and let’s get acquainted.

I’ve always been passionate about businesses and how they run so I was overjoyed when I earned my business degree (MBA) from High Point University in North Carolina. I knew immediately that I wanted to help other people launch their products and businesses and I began by helping entrepreneurs and small businesses to get online and create a solid presence. At the time, I didn’t know as much as I’d like about building websites but I made up for it the areas I excelled in and as I progressed, my knowledge expanded considerably.

As I progressed, I became very interested in the techniques and psychology behind highly successful product launches such as Apple products and other giants, compared to the sub-par launches that fizzled out very quickly. After much studying and my own experience off helping others, I created my own unique Product Launch Guide, which I hope continues to benefit and be an inspiration to others now and in the future.

I realize that time can be very limited in the stages prior to a launch so my aim is to take some of the hard work away and provide some invaluable knowledge.
A very large percent of the people I’ve shared knowledge and insight with, later returned to me, asking for all I knew about email campaigns; what separates a good campaign from an awe-inspiring campaign, how to tailor a campaign to a target demographic and whether I knew of any books or guides on these topics. I was also asked several times whether I had a website where people could come and learn new ways of doing things to achieve the success they desire.

In my professional career I have been part of Joint Venture Setups, establishment of new business areas, and been the Executive Adviser for the Board of Directors.

As much as 80% of startups fail - and I am here to make you part of the 20% that doesn't. I have to date helped more than 40 small startups - and all but 3 are still going strong. How you ask? By following a set guide and thereby avoiding many of the pitfalls.

What’s in it for me? Quite simply, the feeling of satisfaction. Knowing that I’ve helped somebody else in their quest to build a life and boost the economy, gives me immense satisfaction that cannot be bought. Factors to Consider Before Choosing the Right Business Structure



With all the information about different business structures in hand, you are now in a better position to choose the right business structure for your new setup. Of course, there are several factors and criteria that you wish to evaluate before making the decision. So, if you are still confused, here are a few straightforward questions that you can ask yourself in order to reach to a conclusion.


  • 1. To what extent do I (as an owner) require to be benefitted from legal liability? Again, make sure you assess on the basis of the business you are going to setup.
  • 2. What are the opportunities for minimizing tax implications in each of the structure and which one will be the most beneficial for me? Compare the tax implications of each of the structure before you decide.
  • 3. What are the formation (or setup) costs or operational cost of the business and how does each business structure cater to this? Calculate the cost and assess under each structure for a reliable conclusion.
  • 4. Are you ready to take the entire responsibility of the business in terms of risk, profits and losses or would you like to share them and other business responsibilities with others? Some business types are only suitable for a sole proprietorship while on the other hand, the nature of some business requires more than one person to handle it. Consider your business options and decide accordingly.
  • 5. Last but not the least, what is my current financial standing and if that's enough to get started with my own small business? One of the major reasons people opt for business structures with more than one owner is because of financial implications. Think about your business plan and your financial status to determine.
  • 6. What are the tax implications for each of the business structure? Your tax liabilities will be another important factor influencing your final decision. This is covered in detail in the next chapter.


Considering all these factors, you will be in a much better position to take the right decision for your business.
