Wowza!!
Last night I sent out an update announcing we had passed the half way point to my main goal of 250 pre-orders but now, just like that, peeps, we have rocketed past that number and now stand at an amazing 254 pre-orders!! That means my publishing package is being released to a large number of independent publishers (the ones I think have a great chance at taking this copy worldwide with big numbers), and it is thanks, this time, to my "Hello World" package buyers. The package is named for KWKH founder Will K. Henderson's infamous radio sign on "Hello World, doggone ya!", and who better to snatch it up for the KWKH side than two of WK's great-grandchildren - Sharon Yelverton and Clint Henderson, in partnership on the Hayride side with country music hit maker Steve Holy! So, "Good Morning, Beautiful!" to all you folks backing this project! Sharon, Clint and Steve are about to have an awesome book dedicated to them.
All this in the first 12 days of the campaign! Still 18 to go, so there is a very real chance we will hit the highest possible goal of 500 units. Former looooonnnngtime KWKH on-air personality, Tom Pace, called me today and wants to feature me during evening drive time tomorrow afternoon starting around 5:15 or so on his radio program at 90.7 "The Promise" in Shreveport. Tom was known in years past by KWKH giant Frank Page as Frank's "unpaid publicist", and is a die-hard KWKH/Hayride guy - the perfect interviewer for this project, so if you are in listening range of that fine Shreveport Christian radio station, give us a listen tomorrow afternoon. We may fill up the better part of a half-hour.
