Update #5 - Please Support My Campaign: Let's Play Make-Believe May 17, 2020

Everyone struggles with the emotion of fear. Fear of failure. Fear of rejection. Fear of death. While some fears birth heros as a result of their actions to a threat, most fears handicap people.

Fear and courage are polar opposites. Both are states of mind. Courage enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, etc. with strength and confidence. Fear paralyzes a person from looking any further than the threat itself, whether real or imagined.

Kindly permit me to differentiate between being tempted to fear and actually becoming afraid. They are not equal. One could be tempted to fear, but never succumb to it. In fact, that would affirm the meaning of courage. It is only when one succumbs to the fear that they enter the state of being afraid.

In short, the only difference between the two states of mind is the response to the temptation of fear. Circumstances do not change, but attitude does. The source of threat or agony is not removed, but a courageous person has the inner strength of spirit to not become afraid. That inner strength of spirit is available to each of us, if we want it.

Now, let’s play make-believe. Just like when we were kids.

What’s the worst thing that could happen to you? What’s your worst fear?

Ok, pretend it happens to you. What’s your response? Would you act courageously? Or would you become afraid?

In our world of make-believe, imagine you’re in the clutches of fear. You’re tempted to give in. You can’t bear it any longer. When the agony is at it’s peak, you’re delivered from it and don’t become afraid. You walk away with a humble swagger, a type of peaceful confidence that only a relationship with God can provide.

That make-believe neighborhood may not be your reality today, but it can be tomorrow. In 2013, it wasn’t mine either, but it is today.

If you feel stuck, unsure, unfulfilled and want to feel happy and in control of your response to the temptation of fear no matter the circumstance, then I invite you to pre-order my book, Craft Your Calling. I’ve developed a coaching system to help you so that you don’t have to figure it out yourself. I’ll be with you every step of the journey.

When you click the link to pre-order, look for the $500 and $2,000 packages on the right side of the page that include free coaching sessions. If you buy one of those packages today, then you’ll be a charter member and able to gift a session to anybody you care about (upto the number of sessions in the package).

It’s a wonderful gift to yourself, your team or your family. All coaching sessions are held virtually via Zoom.
