Crafting and Entrepreneurial Journey
Lilly’s story of creating something that wasn’t there has two journeys intertwined: a road trip from Dallas, TX to Central America in the late 90’s as a child in charge of the map & the creation of starting a small business in 2015.

Hey y’all!!
I sure hope that life has been treating you swell!
Here in Dallas it has been exciting to say the least! A week ago I got in from visiting my Publisher: Reader Advanced, at their first ever activation event in the heart of NYC. We enjoyed an incredible meal prepared by Pascuale. He is ALSO writing a book with recipes and his story on his love of gathering!!!
Anna Marshall is the Editor of Create Something, and we connected in human form which was incredibly great.
We enjoyed the live music of the Viola played by Florie and it was very moving.
I enjoyed meeting Lena Lencek a recently retired Professor of Reed College whom has written many books. She was very charming and kind in that she encouraged my writing, and assured me that three years to write a book was no time at all.
Bethany Marshall- the founder of Publishizer stepped out as a publisher as well! I am honored to be spearheading the effort with my very first book!
Since then, we have deliberated on cover ideas, and I have now chosen and spoken to our designer who you will be happy to know is who designed Blade Craft Barber logo, colorways, and imagery! Before it was a reality there were resources that helped me make it so!
With as much as we can plan, and prepare we are in a season of “DO”. The coffeeshop has been shapeshifting and seems like it is coming into its cozy form with in the next week so PLEASE keep sending us all the hope filled vibes.
Again- I am so very grateful to you along the journey of this book being a tangible read in your hands. To hope and effort- Lilly
