Hey y’all!!
The season is seasoning! Thanksgiving Turkey Trot here in Dallas was a heartfelt event in that we give out water bottles to the runners! As we run out of water bottles we then give FREE HIGH FIVES!!! Isn’t it amazing how every time that you set out to make the day for others YOUR day is soooo made?!!
Steam Craft Coffee that we made in the waiting area of the Academy to lure people in for services with the students is on week 7!!! We just hit our busiest day yet, and while it isn’t life changing amount for some, the Steam Team is VERY aware, dedicated, and proud of each new ceiling shattered. Our master plan seems to be working to make sure our students get the most hands on as possible so they ca n become the best barbers they can be.
Blade Craft Barber Academy is heading into a new season of enrollment, and if we can it our timelines we will be able to apply for accreditation which activates Title IV funding to reach even more students for a Career In Connection! Barbering has given me some of the most beautiful experiences through friendships and community that I just can’t ever stop boasting about how great a trade it is!
Now THE BOOK!!!! OMG I just received the layout for the first five chapters, and let me tell you she’s a beauty! Readers Advanced, the publishing company, has guided me to this point, and I just cannot believe how close we are!
Next steps, interior layout designer completes the next 17 Chapters, the page count is then shared with the cover designer (did you know it’s how they dictate the spine width?!), the cover designer then completes it, we then submit that to the book makers (not sure what they’re called), and they print us a few copies for us to say, “YUP! It’s perfect print them and ship to ALL our Pre Orderers!” That’s YOU!!!
