About the author

I've been a professional, published writer since high school. Flicker, one of my first two self-published books was self-published when I was 25 years old. Little did I know, this story would morph into a much larger, less-angsty story of a super hero/villain character vowing to save Earth of man's evils. I wrote another, more ethereal book that I self-published in 2016, only to realize that the full story needed a part-two. Enter in the pandemic. I partook in a writer's group challenge early February 2020, right before the world shut down. That global silence made it easy to bang out another book; the what-I-thought would be the sequel to 2016's Alpha Phoenix.

Upon letting the three stories marinate, I realize that the characters I had come up with in each book were, in fact, the same character. Over time in real life, our arch matures and perspective widens. This is what happened, here, over the 17 years that this story has been evolving. Now, in 2022, I'm hoping to re-launch all three formerly self-published books into one; a true awakening, ascension story for young women, and women (identifying-and other words).

Lilith is deep and complex, as most intelligent female protagonists are. The content of this now-cohesive, singular book is incredibly timely in the world we live. If we are truly waking up 'en mass' all over the globe, then this book will make a ton of sense to a ton of people! I feel honored that the story has chosen me to write it, and over the span of 17 years, it's grown ever more potent. So, if this at all peaks your interest, please consider a pre-order of the book. So, of course you're in the know, but so are are your besties in these writhing times of change.

Update #2 - Snippet From the Third Section of the Book Aug. 18, 2022

"She peered directly into the large, burning sun. It was continuing to grow and pulse as she tried to make sense of what was going on. Before she could analyze too much more, the enormous sun exploded in the sky above, sending a low screeching rip sound throughout the ether. The original panic sensation that took hold of Lily began to fade when she forced herself to remain calm and remember that this was only a dream, although she could not shake the fear. Out of total curiosity, Lily continued to peer into the sky at the abyss and vacuum that was now the sun. She did this with her left hand shading her eyes and steadying her feet amid the Earth’s shake and rattle at the exploding sun. She saw a small, black dot growing larger in the center of the space that the sun had occupied. The black dot intrigued Lily and she could not take her eyes away from it. It grew, like the sun had done moments before, larger and larger until it consumed the entirety of the dying sun. A dark shadow cast over the meadow, the trees, and Lily. She looked as deeply as possible into the black hole. Stars. There were millions and millions of stars that Lily saw scattered among the cosmos. Stars resembling the structure of human DNA.

The sensation of abyss and expansion started to overwhelm Lily, but as she did in her waking life, she took a few deep breaths and sat steady; witnessing the events unfolding before her. Just breathe, there’s nothing to do here."
