Firstly, I wanted to say THANK YOU for pre-ordering Defy Convention. It's an ambitious project that I was quite anxious to put out to the world. We are sitting at 69 books pre-ordered and 18 days to go.

I'm beyond grateful to have you supporting me and with your help I am aiming to hit the 500 copy milestone! Why is this so important? I'll give you a bit more info:
Essentially there are three types of publishers. Traditional, Hybrid and Self publishers. To get picked up a traditional publisher - the big guys like Random House, Penguin and Harper Collins for example, I'd need an agent. Then there is no guarantee that, that agent would be able to get my manuscript in front of anyone.
Doing it this way, puts me out there and also shows that people are interested in what I have to say. 500 copies is the minimum for these big guys to take interest. So thats why I am pushing it as much as I can on the socials! It's a lot of books!
