You can not read a label, if you are a label of the bottle.
I've learned that People will forget what you said, People will forget what you did, but People will never forget how you made them feel. My story is about how I learn to solve difficult situations, rise above demoralization and humanize my prison experience to others and make an impact on people lives through the humour, education and positivity!

Dear Reader,
I think that all of us, deep down, have something that we believe will absolve us from the challenges of our humanity: our version of a magic cure-all that removes all the struggle from our lives. It could be a job title, a certain amount of money, a possession, an achievement, a role, or even a relationship. In our minds, it comes to represent the thing that will save us.
Being done, in our culture, means having a lot of success, power, money, influence, and stuff. Big house. Lots of online followers. Winning. Being recognized. When I spoke with TV Executive Producer/Director Carl Buehl ( https://www.imdb.com/name/nm11...), he told me, that, when he came out about his ability to connect with spiritual energies, he received a quite negative pool of emotions, even underlines about losing his job at the TV. My point is, when I am writing my story, I reconnected with various people and rethink again what is success, happiness, fulfillment? What does it mean to them and to others (people who were incarcerated in Australia) and, perspective how do we see each other? Today, I received a message from an aboriginal girl in Australia (who was my inspiration, mentor, and "protector" in prison), that, one of the girls pass away from heart complications. Angie. We knew her from her bad habit to smoke weed. Otherwise, she was harmless. I thought, that she is born in the wrong country, she should move to Holland, Amsterdam. Angie was bright, joyful, and even published a book for disabled kids parents: how to communicate with their kids with disabilities when it gets overwhelming (because she had one).
I notify myself, don't put it down something today what I wanted to do, because tomorrow can come for others, but not for you. It is a fact. Today is a day. Simple is that.
Whilst my work is in progress, I would say...dear reader, I don’t want to delude myself with striving for completeness. I want to find joy in the pursuit of trying, because fulfillment is in the experiences of each day, and create a life that expresses humanity to the fullest and deepest extent.
Stay in the moment and thank you for reading.
Kindly and brightly,
Evi
