Synopsis

I became a Christian at the end of the cold-war whilst serving on Her Majesty’s Polaris Submarine, HMSM Resolution. Coming to 'hover' twice a week for a Weapons Systems Readiness Test, doesn’t half help focus your mind on what’s going on in the world! I became an ordained minister and Pastored and planted churches in the UK and the USA and in 2011, I preached from each of the 66 Book of the Bible in the 66 Cities of the United Kingdom in 66 Days and carried out over 300 street level interviews of people ranging from heroin addicts to Bishops! I am familiar with people and of the strange views and Conspiracy Theories they hold and I am also perplexed and concerned at the lack of Biblical knowledge, there is in the church regarding these things. One of the reasons for this ignorance is they are never addressed and one of the reason they are never addressed is that there are no bookends to frame the conversation and the Biblical narrative. I am a Bible-Believing Christian & that means I am part of the BIGGEST 'Conspiracy Theory' ever imagined! Yet the very term 'Conspiracy Theory' has been used as a beating stick of mocking disdain. 'Finding The Spider' will identify and apply the Biblical Truth in the growing and ever complex multi-morphing web of Global Conspiracy Theory. The Two Great Fears
For the thinking man, for the journeying man who lifts up his head, sighs, and then looks around a little, there are two great fears that will envelope him. The first fear cloaks itself in a thought that says. “Is this all there appears to be to my life? To strive, to consume and then to die?” The fear of ‘mundane pointlessness’ is a most debilitating one The second fear then cloaks itself in this thought and says very simply, “What if nothing is what it appears to be? What if, everything is a deception? What if everything is not the reality it portrays itself to be. What if life, and truth and reality is passing me by!” The fear of ‘deceptive mockery,’ is a quick black dog indeed. The truth of our shared reality does not lie in the middle of these two opposite, extreme and fearful thoughts, but rather, it lies at the edge of both these fears and at ten thousand points in-between. Life is mostly made up of moments of the mundane and yes indeed, nothing, that is NOTHING, is at appears to be.

Conspiracy Theories
I am a Bible believing Christian and that means that I am part of the biggest conspiracy theory that ever existed. I believe the narrative of the whole Bible which clearly speaks of, that is, which reveals the secret machinations which daily play themselves out in our world. ‘Conspiracy Theorist’ is used in a derogatory ‘Nut Job’ kind of way. I embrace the term, and rejoice in the fact that I am Bible believing conspiracy theorist! Indeed, I believe in angels and demons, heaven and hell and that water can be turned into wine. I believe that Jesus rose from the dead, Elijah was taken into a heaven in a fiery chariot, that Peter walked on water, and that Elisha made metal float. In other words, the respectable orthodox beliefs of the most respectable Christians far outweigh any conspiracy theory! I am a Bible believing Christian and that means that I am part of the biggest conspiracy theory that ever existed.

Context & Two Battles
Even so, there is a context to this revealed conspiracy theory of the Bible, indeed, the Bible is its own context. In other words, we need to understand the meta-narrative of the whole Bible, that greater story of the Most High, so that we can rightly shape the information revealed to us. We must know the Big Story of the whole Bible to understand this great conspiracy we live in. I tell you now that this story is bound by two events, by two great battles. The first battle pushes the whole of history towards the second and last battle, and the last battle pulls all of history to itself. There is a powerful and Satanic dynamic that lies between these two battles, those battles being ‘The Fall of Satan’ and ‘Armageddon.’ Not only is the whole of history bound by these two battles but the Satanic dynamic in between them both is the push and pull of everything which the whole of creation is, will and has gone through. The importance of knowing the Big Picture is easy because if people don't live in within the parameter meta-narrative of God, they don’t see the big picture & consequently they cannot live well, or productively in their own little picture. This book is a primer, a little map for you to go out and find the facts and assemble the truth according to God’s Holy Word The Bible.

The great liar, the great hater and murderer of the creation of God and of mankind created in God’s image, is a well-practiced deceiver. Whereas the Bible has sought at the right time to reveal the secrets of this great Satanic dynamic, Lucifer has sought to hide his intents and great preparations from us. In Scott’s epic poem ‘Marmion’ written about the battle of Flodden (1513,) we find the oft quoted lines,

“Oh, what a tangled web we weave. When first we practice to deceive!”

After the election of Donald Trump as president Elect and the surge in the alt-right media, coupled with a Chinese-driven ‘crack down’ on alternative and fake news, the focus on ‘Conspiracy Theory’ is an at all time high.
People in the West would want this book because there is a need for a thorough 'Biblical Filter' to remove the rubbish, and discern the FAKE Biblical views that are running around the internet as well as provide a 'Biblical Magnifying Glass' to highlight what is true according to the Bible and also show just how 'up-to-date' the Bible is on genetics, chimeras, cloning, aliens, AI, robots, transhumanism, Roman Catholicism, Islam, political machinations, the New World Order, possible coming war, ecological and economic disasters, and a lot more besides!

We all know that the so-called Alternative Media is now replacing the dying Mainstream Media, and one of the reasons is their open affirmation and conversation around 'conspiracy theory.' We all need to catch up quick on this conversation from a very Biblical Perspective. This book will provide a solid Biblical framework for such a discussion and will hit head on, all those issues that most churches fear to attend to.
